Bülent Bülbüloğlu, Vice President of Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) said that tourism sector is expecting many hosts for 9 days long Eid al-Adha holiday. 

Stating that the citizens also miss the holiday, Bülbüloğlu said, "This is news that will make most holidaymakers happy. We had a troubled winter as a country. After the epidemic, earthquake and a long election traffic, people deserved a good holiday. We expect an occupancy rate of 90 or more." said.

Bülbüloğlu noted that with the announcement of the 9-day holiday decision, there was an increase in reservations in the domestic market.

We receive reservations from many regions of Turkey

Eray Yasyerli, who runs a hotel in Bodrum, said that they received serious demand from the domestic market. Calling holidaymakers to make reservations as soon as possible, Yasyerli said, "We receive reservations from many regions of Turkey. I recommend that people make hotel reservations before coming to Bodrum. We think that there will be 80-90 percent activity in the domestic market. It will increase even more.” he said.

Ali Mürşit Yağmur, President of Dalyan Hoteliers and Tourism Association, noted that the extension of the Eid holiday will greatly contribute to tourism professionals. Indicating that international reservations also increased in June, Yağmur said, "We expect a density in the district during the holiday. Oludeniz Tourism Development Cooperative President Muhammet Kökten also stated that the holiday will be the lifeblood of the sector.
