A suicide attack near a mosque in Pakistan's Balochistan province killed 52 people, including a policeman

A suicide bomb attack was carried out near the Madinah Mosque in Mastung district of Balochistan province in Pakistan, where many people gathered on the occasion of Mawlid Kandil, the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

52 people were killed and more than 130 were injured.

The attacker reportedly blew himself up near a police vehicle. While the wounded were taken to the surrounding hospitals, a state of emergency was declared in all hospitals. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
